Program Details

1. What you will accomplish by participating in program.
   1. You will have an opportunity to interact with Shri.Chaitram Pawar who devoted his life for development of Baripada.
   2. You will have opportunity to travel with Dr.Anand Phatak (Who devoted 6 years after passing MD Medicine to Baripada)
   3. You will have firsthand experience of tribal area.
   4. You will be surprised to see the development of Baripada in last 20 years.

2. Details of Baripada.
   1. Baripada is situated in Dhule district.
   2. Baripada village has received many national and international awards. UNDP India Chapter has recently awarded Baripada with India Biodiversity award 2014.
   3. Shri.Chaitram Pawar initiated the activity and involved many local persons in the developmental process.

3. Tribal area exposure – Dates.
   1. On 30^th and 31^st May 2015, Saturday and Sunday.

4. Registration.
   1. Only 30 students will be registered for this tribal area exposure visit on first come first basis.
   2. It is open for MBBS and BDS students only.
   3. Registration should be done online.

5. Registration Charges.
   1. Registration charges will be Rs.300 for two days and includes food, accommodation and transport.
   2. Charges will be collected at Aurangabad.

6. Eligibility for participation.
   1. It is open for boys and girls.
   2. This activity is only for MBBS and BDS students from first year to final year.

7. Location of Tribal Area Exposure.
   1. Baripada, District Dhule, Maharashtra.

8. Students should reach Aurangabad.
   1. Preferably students are requested to reach Dr.Hedgewar Hospital on 29^th May 2015, Friday by 9 PM.
   2. Accommodation and Dinner will be available on 29^th May 2015, at Dattaji Bhale Blood Bank, first floor.

9. Departure from Aurangabad.
   1. From Dattaji Bhale Blood Bank journey will start by 6 AM sharp on 30^th May 2015.
   2. You will reach Dhule (150 Km) in three hours via Khultabad, Kannad, Chalisgaon.
   3. From Dhule you will travel to Baripada (108 KM) in two hours via Sakri, Nandurbar.
   4. You will reach Baripada by 12 noon. This includes time required for Breakfast during travelling.

10. Distance from Aurangabad.
    1. Aurangabad to Baripada distance is 260 KM.

11. Departure from Baripada.
    1. From Baripada return journey will start at 2 PM on 31^st May 2015.

12. Reaching time to Aurangabad.
    1. Reaching time to Aurangabad will be 8.30 PM on 31^st May 2015.

13. When can you join your college?
    1. You can join your college on 1^st June 2015.
    2. You are requested to book the return tickets for your place after 9.30 PM on 31^st May 2015.

14. Transportation.
    1. Transportation will be by bus with 30 seats.

15. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
    1. On 29^th May 2015 Dinner at Dr.Hedgewar Hospital, Aurangabad.
    2. On 30^th May 2015 during travelling Breakfast during journey.
    3. On 30^th May 2015 Lunch and Dinner at Baripada.
    4. On 31^st May 2015 Breakfast and Lunch at Baripada.
    5. On 31^st May 2015 Dinner during journey.

16. What you will have to carry?
    1. Routine travelling kit, clothes etc.
    2. If you are on medication please carry them.
    3. Valuables should not be carried or should be carried at owner’s risk.
